The Ministry of Digital Transformation and Communications Launches “SUDAPASS”

• Today, the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Communications officially launched “SUDAPASS”, Sudan’s National Digital Identity, in a strategic step toward building a secure and trusted national digital infrastructure. The initiative is implemented through the Sudan Cybersecurity Authority (SCA) and the National Authority for Digital Certification (NADC), in partnership with the Ministry of Interior represented by the Civil Registry.
• “SUDAPASS” represents a major milestone toward enabling citizens to securely and reliably access government and private sector services, conduct electronic transactions, and use digital signatures, contributing to improved service delivery, enhanced operational efficiency, strengthened digital trust, and support for Sudan’s digital economy.
• “SUDAPASS” also advances digital transformation efforts across government sectors, banking, telecommunications, education, healthcare, and future digital services by providing a secure and trusted digital identity built in line with international best practices and standards in cybersecurity and digital services.
• The launch of “SUDAPASS” marks an important milestone within the Ministry’s broader efforts to establish a modern digital ecosystem founded on digital trust, expand access to services, and enhance Sudan’s readiness for the rapidly evolving digital economy and emerging technologies.
• The launch ceremony was attended by senior officials, members of the diplomatic corps, development partners, private sector representatives, and national experts, reaffirming the importance of building a trusted digital infrastructure that supports the future of services and digital transformation in Sudan.
