- In light of the circulating discussions regarding the National Digital Identity Platform “SUDAPASS”, the Sudanese Cybersecurity Authority (SCA) affirms that the platform has been developed and operated in accordance with advanced technical, security, and institutional requirements that place the protection of citizens’ data and digital sovereignty among the nation’s highest priorities.
- In this regard, we emphasize the following:
• All digital identity data is subject to Sudanese digital sovereignty and the relevant national governance frameworks.
• Encryption keys and digital certificates are managed through the National Authority for Digital Certification (NADC) in accordance with approved security controls and standards.
• The system undergoes periodic security reviews and testing to ensure readiness and continuously strengthen cybersecurity protection.
• The platform is developed and operated by qualified Sudanese professionals and experts specialized in cybersecurity and digital identity technologies.
- “SUDAPASS” represents a strategic national project aimed at building digital trust, strengthening digital sovereignty, and enabling citizens to securely and reliably access digital services.
- We reaffirm our full commitment to protecting citizens’ data and continuing the development of the national digital ecosystem in line with recognized best practices and approved standards.
